Vision 2011 Overview
Vision 2011 is a program of the Manitowoc/Two Rivers Area Chamber of Commerce that is driven by business, government and community leaders with a common desire to create a strong future for Manitowoc County. The group works together to address key issues in the community, foster a positive economic environment and ensure a high quality of life.
OVERALL GOAL:
To bring 2,011 new jobs to Manitowoc County by the year 2011.
KEY OBJECTIVES
" Maintain and grow a high quality of life - A high quality of life is essential to the area's future, and Vision 2011 is striving to enhance the quality of life in Manitowoc County.
" Retain and grow existing businesses - Vision 2011 is focused on helping existing employers retain jobs and grow for the future.
" Bring new businesses to the community - Significant growth also requires new businesses to build a stable economy for the area.
